Each year, Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont provides a special and unique way in which hospice families, as well as community members, pay tribute to their loved one’s memory. This year, we are pleased to offer angel ornaments exclusively handmade for Hospice by potter Phyllis Collins. Phyllis studied under Gary Cloontz, through Piedmont Tech, to become a potter. She is a founding member of pARTners in Clay, a co-op studio, located at Wyatt Farms here in Greenwood, SC, where she works with 4 other potters. Each ornament is handmade and made with love and will vary from each other.
“Old Rugged Cross Angel” is available for $25.00 each. Your loved one’s name and 2022 can be printed on a card that is attached to the angel.
All ornaments will be displayed on the Hospice Memorial Tree at our 2022 Festival of Trees held at First Baptist Church, Grace Street, Greenwood. Ornaments will be displayed beginning Saturday, December 3, 2022, through Sunday, December 4, 2022. They will be available for pick up at the Hospice Office beginning December 7th through December 23rd from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM, unless you have paid to have them shipped.
