A Community Effort

There are several ways for those in our community to link arms with Care of the Piedmont and join our efforts to provide dignified, affordable care to patients facing terminal or serious illness. Whether it’s monetary donations through our Care of the Piedmont Foundation, supplies, or in kind by giving your time and talents through several volunteer opportunities, know this: your efforts make a long-lasting impact to the families we support.

Donations

As the area’s only 501c3 hospice and palliative care organization, donations made to Care of the Piedmont Foundation are tax deductible. Funds directly support the mission and vision of Care of the Piedmont and help provide our patients and their families with the utmost quality of medical and spiritual guidance.

Care of the Piedmont entrusts Zeffy – a third party platform for non-profit organizations – for its online donations. Through this platform, 100 percent of your donation will go to Care of the Piedmont efforts, both in the community and within the Hospice House.

In your online transaction, Zeffy will ask for a donation to help cover their company’s transaction fees. If you don’t wish to donate to this platform, choose “other” under the Confirm Your Donation section, instead of a percentage donation.

Dedicate a Brick - A Timeless Tribute

Honor the memory of a loved one and support the future of Care of the Piedmont with the purchase of a commemorative, engraved brick. These treasured mementos are placed along the courtyard of the Hospice House or in the Veterans Walkway and Garden (Veterans only).

Each brick paves the way for Care of the Piedmont staff to provide critical services to our patients and give families in need with social services and grief support. Order online, download a form or request for a form by mail at 864-227-9393.
