Nancy Hart Wicker, MD

Medical Director, Hospice and Palliative Care

Dr. Wicker received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2010.  She completed her residency at Self Regional Healthcare MCFM and is certified by the America Board of Family Medicine.  Dr. Wicker is also Fellowship trained in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and received her board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine from the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2021.


Robert “Rob” Tiller, MD

Palliative Care Medical Director, On-Call and Weekend Coverage

Dr. Tiller received his medical degree from the Indiana University School Of Medicine in 1994.  He completed his residency at Self Regional Healthcare MCFM and was certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  Dr. Tiller is also Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

 


Taylor Hyatt, MD

On-Call and Weekend Coverage

Dr. Hyatt received her medical degree from the USC School Of Medicine.  She completed her residency at Self Regional Healthcare MCFM and was certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and American Academy of Family Physicians.


Richard Philipp, II, MD

On-Call and Weekend Coverage

Dr. Philipp received his medical degree from MUSC.  He completed his residency at Self Regional Healthcare MCFM and was certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  

 


Christian Reinholz, MD

On-Call and Weekend Coverage

Dr. Reinholz received his medical degree from USC University School Of Medicine.  He was certified by the American Academy of Family of Physicians.  Dr. Tiller is also Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.


Charlene Kish, MHA, RN

Chief Executive Officer

Charlene Kish is the CEO of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Charlene is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a registered nurse. She has her master’s degree in health care administration.


Joy Girard, RN, CHPN

Director of Clinical Services

Joy Girard, Director of Clinical Services at Hospice Care of the Piedmont since 2005.

Joy is a Certified Hospice & Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN) – 1999.


Carrie Murdock, RN

Nurse Manager, Hospice House

Carrie Murdock, Nurse Manager for the Hospice House at Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont since 2021.

Carrie has a BSN from Lander and a BS in Health Administration from Winthrop.


Meg Giles, BSN, RN, OCN

Home Care Manager

Meg Giles, Home Care Manager for Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont since 2022.

Meg has a BSN from the University of SC Upstate. She is a Certified Oncology Nurse and Certified in Chemotherapy/Biotherapy.

Christie Brewster, APRN-BC, ACHPN

Palliative Care Coordinator

Christie Brewster, Nurse Practitioner at Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont since 2012.

Christie serves as a member of the Palliative Care Team.  She is a resource for patients, families, and hospital staff regarding palliative care and end-of-life care.

Christie is a Certified Advanced Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (ACHPN) – 2016.  She is also a First Steps ACP (Advanced Care Planning) Certified Facilitator – 2018.


Cokeletta “Kela” Davis, ACNPC-AG

Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner

Kela Davis, Nurse Practitioner at Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont since 2023.

Kela serves as a member of the Palliative Care Team.

Kela received her Bachelor of Science degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner from Walden University.
